Popular Zee Bangla TV Serials As Per TRP Ratings 2020


Zee Bangla is one of the most-watched Bengali entertainment channels. Its mega serials have always made a mark, and Bengalis have poured their love into them. This list has the top Bengali serials on Zee Bangla TV based on BRAC TRP Ratings. Rani Rashmoni is the most-watched Bengali show. Zee Bangla Shows(Natok) Alo Chaya, Krishnakoli, Dadagiri, Didi No 1, Saregamapa, and Trinayani are very popular among audiences. Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni

Since its launch in the year 2017, this period drama has maintained its position on the top 5 of the TRP list. The show centers around Rani Rashmoni, who was the founder of the Dakshineshwar Maa Kaali Temple. She appointed Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa as the priest of that temple. 

The talented actress Ditipriya Roy is playing the titular role. She was only 15 years old when she donned this role with full maturity. Audiences were in awe of her acting skills. Bangladeshi model-actor Gazi Abdun Noor was playing the role of Babu Ramchandra Das, Rani's husband. Later on, famous actors like Gourab Chatterjee, Oindrilla Saha, Sampurna Mondal, Dhrubajyoti Sarkar, and Roshni Bhattacharya became part of the show.

Alo Chhaya

The show narrates the bond of two little girls Alo and Chhaya.  Actress Debadrita Basu of Zee Bangla's top-rated serial Joyee fame plays the role of Alo. Alo is often neglected by her family, which creates a rift between the two girls. The show is doing well on the TRP chart.

Trinayani

Supernatural stories have always fared well among Bengali viewers. This show has already paved its way to the top three serials of Star Jalsha. The show revolves around a village girl who can foresee the future. It stars Shruti Das and Gourab Roy Chowdhury in lead roles.

Gourab's last serial, Shubho Drishti, was very popular among viewers. This show has always been in the news for the chemistry of the leads. Both actors come from a theatre background. The show is remade in Odia and Telugu language.

Dadagiri Unlimited

It is a Bengali language quiz show hosted by Former Indian Cricket team Captain and BCCI chairman Sourav Gangly. Launched in 2009, This show was the talk of the town because of its host, the prince of Calcutta. Several Renowned personalities have taken part in this quiz show. Arijit Singh has sung the title track. This show is a huge audience puller.

Krishnakoli

It's one of the most successful serials in Zee Bangla. At one point, It was the highest TRP Bengali show. Tiyasha Roy is the lead protagonist in this serial. She is playing Shyama, a talented Keerthan singer, who has to face a lot of discrimination for her dusky skin.  Her life changes post-marriage, and her husband supports her to make a career in music. The story-line is very captivating, and audiences are in love with the role of Shyama.

Nokshi Katha

The plot revolves around a Muslim girl named Shabnam Khatun, who runs away from her forced marriage. A Hindu doctor, Jashoji, rescued her and married her so that she can fulfill her dreams. Shabnam struggles to adjust to a conservative Hindu family. Manali Dey and Suman Dey are playing the lead protagonist. 

Interestingly, Nakshi Kantha is a type of folk art where colorful patterns and designs are embroidered into a quilt with a running stitch called Kantha stitch. It tells the story of life in rural Bengal. It tells the story of the joys, sorrows, and dreams of the future.

Didi No 1

It is the second longest-running Bengali television Serial. This game show for women was premiered in 2010. Rachana Banerjee, June Malia, Pushpita Mukherjee, and Debashree Roy have hosted this show.  Rachana Banerjee is the current anchor of the show. 

Talented women from different parts of West Bengal talk about their struggle and how they overcome it. These inspirational ladies compete against each other in a series of entertaining tasks to win various prizes. This show is quite popular among homemakers.

Joy Baba Loknath

Mythological shows have always been a top favorite for rural Bengalis. Lokenath Baba is the household deity of millions of Bengali families on both sides of the border. Child actor Aranya Roy Chowdhury played the titular role. He won the millions of hearts with his power-packed performance. His acting skills made the serial a TRP chartbuster.

Now, the show has taken a time leap, and Popular Bengali actor Souptic Chakraborty is playing the role of grown-up Baba Lokenath. It will be interesting to watch if he can maintain the popularity of the show.

Ranu Pelo Lottery

The show revolves around her. Ranu is a poor bubbly girl whose dream is to become rich one day. Her life changes when she won a lottery of Rs. Ten Crores. She gets married in the family where her parents are working as domestic help. Bijoylakshmi Chatterjee is playing the titular role. Model turned actor Krushal Ahuja is playing the role of Ranu's husband.


Rannaghor

It is the third longest-running Indian television series. This cookery show was launched in the year 2005. Sudipa Chatterjee hosted this show for over 13 years. After she left, Aparajit Auddy was brought in for anchoring. A person is invited to the show. He helps people to learn the new and traditional recipes.

Netaji

This high-budget show is a biographical drama of the greatest freedom fighter, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The show depicts his journey from a young boy who is against the colonial rule to become the most fearless leader of India. Child Actor Abhishek Bose is playing the titular role.

Soudaminir Songsar

Set in the rural Bengal of the 1950s era, this comedy-drama revolves around Saudamini. She gets married to a family where quarreling is a regular affair. She tries to resolve the conflicts within the family. Sushmili of Prothom Protishruti fame is the lead protagonist. Adhiraj, another child actor, is playing the role of Saudamini's husband.
